"Kim Jong ILL?"

Here's that S. Korean news story referenced in the Reuters article.

Seems like a pretty convoluted denial based on some N. Korean sources. I don't know if anyone can really be trusted. It sounds plausible that he is in seclusion over COVID fears and US and other intelligence agencies are taking the opportunity to either sow discord in NK government or dare Kim to come out of hiding.

He's usually got a pretty clean fade. My guess is the barber jacked it up and he's waiting for it to grow out.

And find a new barber as the last one Epsteined himself.

His sister would take over for him. So obviously not out of the realm of possibility that she had the surgeon make a teensie little mistake. And then of course she would send teh entire medical team to a nice luxury retreat somewhere along with their families!

What we know for sure about North Korea and Kim Jong Un

"(CNN)Kim Jong Un has been enjoying Donald Trump's presidency. After Trump's threats of "fire and fury" turned to love letters and handshakes, the North Korean leader has largely gotten a free pass on a lot of destabilizing activities -- including the short-range missile tests he ramped up in recent weeks. In fact, Kim's stayed in President Trump's good graces for longer than many of Trump's hand-picked cabinet secretaries.

Trump has touted his "success" with Kim as a foreign policy win, including from the White House podium at briefings on the coronavirus. Last Friday, Trump played down North Korea's recent illegal missile tests, lied about President Obama's track record on North Korea, selectively left out his own aggressive rhetoric toward Kim earlier in his presidency, and even said he received a "nice note" from Kim -- a point that the North Koreans denied.

Trump seemed to confuse that coronavirus briefing with a campaign rally, the truth is that Kim had been pretty busy during the last few weeks doing what Kim does best: hurting his own people and making the world a more dangerous place. The DPRK is accused of lying about its claim of zero coronavirus infections and popping off rockets while his own people suffer from starvation, endemic health issues -- and, probably, Covid-19.

Now, though, Kim's pernicious public behavior has taken a back seat amid reports that he is in grave danger after surgery.

Still curious what we know about Kim Jong Un?

Lots of articles out there (Fox News, Newsweek, NY Post...) referencing reports from HK that Kim Jong Un is dead; Japan says he’s in a vegetative state.
