For me I would call Graham Harrell after Monken and Fedora turned me down. TBH if Dunn wants to step up I might give him the option. Henson is 1 coach away from the job imho.

So, give me a devil's advocate view here, fellas. What do other programs think they are getting in Yurchich?

Is it just looking at the statistics? Because, yeah, we've had them, but we've had game-upon-game for seasons now of maddening play calling.

I don't get it, but I'm not going to be sad to see him gone. I wish him great success in a program other than ours.

Have we ever brought back an OC that coached here before? Is it something that happens at other programs? It just seems far fetched and not a normal ascent of a coaching career.

It’ll be Henson and we’ll be missing Yurcich. Henson was not good at Missouri and, in my opinion, a good position coach should never be promoted because then, if they fail, you’re not only having to replace a coordinator but a position coach as well. It’s why I wouldn’t promote Henson, Dunn or Clemente.

What would be different under Henson or Dunn over Yurcich? Do you think OCMY didn’t listen to his HC and position specialists? He just did his own thing? What do they bring that MY didn’t?

Absolutely nothing but it just follows the complacency narrative. If Monken is available you HAVE to call him.

I agree with you I'm not sure it's a good thing to promote from within at this time. I'm not saying they're not capable but it's time for fresh meat imo.

If Henson gets passed over, my guess is that he will leave OSU anyways

Probably not his year because it's late but soon

I don't think so, to me he is being groomed for Gundys replacement. Just what I think.
