Interviews always happen. No matter what type of job, it's all to hear what's the best option for you. Illinois would be a step down imo anyway

If he leaves .... wow

Bret Beilima took over as HC and looking to fill out his staff
I don’t think there’s any history between the two

Had to know this was coming. He led a great defense, and he's gonna get calls about it.

Losing Knowles to a lesser program on a lateral move would be absolutely unacceptable. I know that money is tight right now, but we have to find a way to pay him.

Illinois DC job would be attractive compared to us simply because Bielema and the way he plays offense.

Plus....He wouldn't have to face Big 12 offenses.

I'm not saying hes going, but if he did I don't think there is anything to read into it other than he would be a D.C. in a team that controls the ball offensively.

You have to know when you take the job at Illinois that you're eventually going to get fired.
That's what they used to say about taking a football job at K-State. Every coach worth his weight thinks he can be part of a Bill Snyder-type turnaround at a losing program.

Well there is a Walmart there now and in the 70's my Sociology Prof smoked pot with us (class) and projected it (pot) would be legal in 2 years. We did get the Walmart, and now the legit stuff.
Actually since Burns and Wife took control Stillwater has many cultural places' to visit. Hope we Do Not Screw Up the Next Hire. Burns and Wife have been 100% best hires we have had in many years. love Them
