She's a Dem. If she was a Rep, there would be howls of outrage by the media and DNC and they would demand her immediate resignation. But since she's a Dem, the media absolutely doesn't care, the DNC isn't going to say anything and even quite a few Reps are like "meh, let her constituents decide".
To be fair the Republicans tend to get more flack over stuff like this because they push family values. I don't know her campaign strategy but if she is openly bisexual I'm guessing she wasn't talking about her family the way a right wing 50something midwestern male would. An older Republican male with a kink versus a 30 year old chick from California who is kinda hot. One story gets the play you kinda expect here because we want to know the details, but in the grand scheme of things really isn't that juicy. If it was a hardcore conservative who had an anti gay voting record it's a far bigger story.

I could care less about her being gay or bi, it's the sleeping with your staff that shows a lack of judgement IMO and opens up questions of possible corruption.
Don't get me wrong, any politician who preaches family values and gets caught cheating should be roundly criticized.

Yeah, I read her statement. She’s really playing the victim. Her (ex) husband may be a real POS, who cares. Those were her staffers she was plowing, not his.

I’m talking about politicians. Everyone already knows the majority of “me too” offenders are liberal. But they’re not the ones running the country.
Please pay attention.

Ok, so your false, unjustified personal opinion is about politicians.
Got it, thanks. Good to know that you are limiting your incorrect assertion to only some people.

(BTW, if you are going to limit who you are talking about to politicians, probably should not have a bunch of non-politicians in your list before you tell someone else to "pay attention." LOL)

So, is she soon to be named the next Speaker of the House?
Maybe a VP nomination coming?
Surely at least a much better committee assignment? A promotion is what I was told is the likely outcome for left wing sex scandals.

Huh, she resigned?????????

But, but, but that goes completely against the entire theme in this thread. It is the republicans that get hurt by this stuff. Right? How is it that nobody notice that the entire theme of this thread is a sham but me?

What should be happening here is in the pic below but instead of admitting that the claim of unfair persecution of the right wing politicians is a total sham why don't we just ignore all the prior posts and instead write a bunch more with the new theme complaining about HOW she is resigned.

Revenge porn or not,
if Redstate didn’t have nekkid pictures to go with their story, this would just be a “hateful republican smear campaign full of lies and innuendo”

Anyone remember Republican Senator Larry Craig of Idaho? He was arrested in the Minneapolis airport for soliciting “lewd behavior.” He went into a bathroom stall, tapped his right foot twice, and then waved his hand under the stall wall. Ruined his political career.

Given what’s going on in today’s world, that seems rather quaint.
