NEVER, I repet, NEVER vote for anyone with two first names!!!!

Examples -

Brad Henry, "Casino on every corner Brad"
John Kerry
Ron Paul

You get the drift...

Ronald Reagan? Or, does it only apply if both first names are for boys? What is the verdict on cross gender?

Maybe I'll stick with voting based on issues.

Ronald Reagan works...

So does David Duke!

It's not an ad campaign. It's an address to congress that took place yesterday. If you give a damn about where our country is headed, it is imperative to watch this.
Get your panties out of a wad. It's too early to begin worrying about the election. I've heard the guy speak. I choose not to support him at this time. I may change but I will make that decision on facts and issues, not on something like a youtube ad.

I question your comprehension anyway. It's not an ad, which I clearly stated. It's an address to the House of Representatives which was delivered on Tuesday. And you attempt to further discredit this vid (which you obviously haven't watched anyway) because it's on YouTube? I guess you prefer mainstream media as they can tell you your opinion rather than going through the taxing excerise of common sense and logic. But rest assured, this clip was initially televised on C-SPAN, so you shouldn't be too threatened by it.

If you're so angered and think it's too early to discuss the election then why post in the thread? You're only propagating something that you wish to go away.

Don't tell me what is imperative for me to watch.

I get it. You're a Ron Paul disciple. You've started at least 3 Ron Paul threads on here. Just give it a rest, why dontcha. If he's still around next summer, then I'll listen to what he has to say.

Don't tell me that I can't tell you what to watch:rolleyes:

Seriously, it's an internet forum. Being self righteous only makes you look like a tool.

My God, 3 THREADS?!? Oh the humanity...

Okay skippy, you can question anything you want. You are not, however, acting in your candidate's best interest by handling these posts in this way. It appears you are the only one who's angry. You might want to go play with your blocks or find another way to release some tension.

Well, since you are the self appointed mod and apparent political strategist, how would you suggest I go about it? Meagerly speak when spoken to, and beg for forgiveness when I do?

You're right, I am angry. I'm angry that the media has taken it upon itself to decide that there are only about 6 candidates running for the presidency. And it just so happens that it is those who have common interests and million dollar backing from corporations and special interest groups. I'm angry that the one clip I've seen televised more than any other since the 2nd GOP debate was when Huckabee made a joke about John Edwards haircut! I've heard them say that Romney "looks the most Presidential". What the hell does that mean, or have to do with anything? It's irresponsible journalism.

I believe that our country is teetering dangerously close to a serious downward spiral. It is your prerogative to agree or disagree. It's my prerogative to express my opinion. If, in your mind, it's too early to discuss the election then don't enter any threads that might discuss it. However, I do find it odd that you'd make such brash statements considering that you've posted a couple of politically themed threads as of late...

There's a few Ron Paul supporters on this board, so whether some of you like it or not, I'd like him to continue to post things that I may have missed so that we can discuss them. That's what this place is for.

These are the statements I refer to. This doesn't win you any converts.

You won't get any argument from me on the media or how they are trying to shape this election.

I believe that our country is teetering dangerously close to a serious downward spiral. It is your prerogative to agree or disagree. It's my prerogative to express my opinion. I share your concern about our country. I think we're losing freedoms quietly and it seems sometimes that nobody notices. Discussion is good. Political discussion can be fun but let's not wrapped around the axle because movement to embrace your candidate seems slow. As for the oddity of my brash statements compared to my posts, you'll just have to reconcile that with yourself. My posts have relevance because they relate to current events and are topics of frequent news reports.
