Possibly....but then you and Pokey and the rest of the Dems would be the opposite as well, calling it a witch hunt and saying she did absolutely nothing wrong. Where do we go from here?
No, I would still view the matter as a stupid political thing not worth pursuing in the House because the Democrat senate would not vote to remove Hillary. Impeachments have usually been about putting the political party ahead of the country.

So it sounds like we agree that this impeachment is a stupid political thing, not worth pursuing, that is only putting the DNC ahead of the country. I'm glad that at least some of our left of center posters here at OP think that way. Thank you.

Liberal Logic 101.
The president asking a foreign government to help investigate possible corruption in the federal government = bribery and bad for the electoral process.
Democrat candidates literally promising to pay everybody $12,000 a year if they get elected = NOT bribery and good for the electoral process.

Let’s see. One person is striving to win a top tier spot in a primary, the other, the POTUS, has the office and the full power of the United States of America behind him. The Prez has taken the oath of office that supposedly puts his own personal desires BEHIND those of the country and the will of the people. Nah, no difference at all, just willful ignorance . IMO

Would that be the same oath a certain Veep took that no one wants to investigate whether or not he violated?
Yep, but isn’t Trump’s,not our personal, Attorney’s General looking into it like a good little lap dog? If you want more than that bs, keep the Senate and retake the House. Until then quit whining about the process Republicans put into effect January 2015, and try to justify to us all how Trump hasn’t abused his power significantly and continues to do so almost daily.

When does the fisa report come out? Or the Durham report? They surely were not putting themselves ahead of the country. The cover up may soon be uncovered.

The president asking a foreign government to investigate possible foreign interference in our election = inviting foreign interference in our elections.
The DNC trying desperately to prevent such an investigation = protecting our elections from foreign interference.

Congratulations! You’ve passed “False Equivalencies “ and “Whatsboutisms”.
Blind Conservative Deflections 201 requires demanding that process, trumps facts, and completion of “Advancing Russian Talking Points” and “ Only Republican Presidents are Above the Law”. From here on out the curriculum gets noticeably more difficult, as lies are much more difficult to promote with a straight face, but you’ll do well as you don’t lack conviction, and facial expression is lacking in your favorite forum.

Look, I think the impeachement is a waste of time and money. But, do you really think that this is just a president trying to investigate corruption and it just coincidentally happens to be the family member of a a candidate for president? I mean, it is a huge country, with millions of episodes of potential corruption. It isn't really the job of the president to be involved in investigations.
This is political sleeze and the type of thing that citizens should be against, even if the democrats method of trying to deal with this instance is stupid.

Promising EVEREYBODY the same thing is far less of a bribe than promising specific industries better tax cuts than others as just happened. A bribe has to differentiate to be a bribe. Taxpayers paying for a public road for everyone, not a bribe. Taxpayers paying for a road that goes only to the house of a well connected person, bribe.

He also pushed the conspiracy theory the DNC gave Crowdstrike their Server. Our own intel community has already said there was no server, but the DNC was nothing more than a network of 1000's of computers working together to house data and not centralized on a server
Conspiracy theory still not going away. Probably because most of the people pushing it don't understand the actual subject matter.

If Trump is impeached but not removed, it just might make him start thinking twice about Trump being Trump going into his reelection. That won't work to the benefit of Democrats, along with the economy staying good.
