When I was trying to figure out how to make a yeast starter this video was extremely helpful. This is pretty much the process I still use.

From this video, to simplify, 1) boil in the flask. Most are rated for this type of application, not sure why he boils in a pot and then moves it. 2) boil the stir rod as well. If you buy quality stir rods, you should be able to safely boil them to sterilize as well. I don't boil the stir rod for the whole boil, just a minute or two at the end of the boil.

Thanks for the tips @sc5mu93 and @BAMF cowboy . I will put some pictures up when I get ready to bottle the American Wheat that's fermenting right now.

APA hanging out in secondary. I'm going to keep it at room temp for another day to make sure fermentation is complete and then it goes in the fridge for cold conditioning.

Floating on top is an ounce of cascade pellets in a cheesecloth sock. This is the first time I have dry hopped in the secondary so I had make sure to sterilize the bag. Usually I dry hop in the keg with a globe mesh tea ball, but after the last one coming open, I am a little gun shy.

Beer for the Stupor Bowl was a success. Flavor and aroma were dead on for what I was targeting. Clarity still isn't that great, but the beer is still really young.

Waiting to drink my Zombie Dust clone. This is the third gallon batch that I have made. Opened one of the bottles to check clarity and it looked and smelled like Zombie Dust. Put it in the fridge for the evening. Plan on reopening it and actual Zombie Dust tomorrow to compare.

Anyone ever tried making red wine? I've researched it quite a bit and there looks to be many different ways to go about it. Anyone have any tips? Like what's most important, etc?

Had to brew for the eclipse. 12 gallons of American Wheat. Not hefe. Not wit (Belgian or otherwise). Not Berliner weisse. Not goze.

No fruit additive either. Apparently a dying style because of hipsters and their IPAs.

And I put it in this:
