They just announced it.

Officials broke ground on the $465 million Gathering Place in September 2014. A re-opening date for the revamped Riverside Drive, blocked off near downtown for nearly three years, will be announced Monday, a city spokeswoman said.

Gathering Place's 66.5-acre first phase will be packed with about two dozen major components, including the five-acre Chapman Foundations Adventure Playground, Williams Mist Mountain, SemGroup Sport Courts and a skate park. Additional features will include the QuikTrip Great Lawn, where concerts and events can be staged, and Williams Lodge, where guests can enjoy food, drinks and a lounge area.
