There has already been enough stuff to wreck any normal candidate/incumbent, and it has been proven out that it simply doesn't matter.
BS...everything hyped by the fake news and other partisans has been shot down right and left by those who are concerned about the truth. Pu$$y grabbing? Well, you can thank you're boy Slick Willie for that not really being an issue.

Oh my god.

1. Collusion or not, Russia worked their asses off to get him elected. That in itself a few years ago would have been the death knell of any politician at any level in this country.
2. Stormy Daniels, while the first lady was home with his newborn son. Again, like Steross said, a hot chick sitting on your lap would get you kicked in previous elections.
3. Playboy model - Can't even remember her name, that should say something.

Want me to go on?? Look I know you love the guy and what he's doing, that's fine, but the bar has been lowered to beneath the earth by Trump. I don't see how you can not at least acknowledge that.

1. LOL...give me a break. NO evidence of this whatsoever particularly his involvement. It was the Clinton's being paid off and enabled by the Russians. Were you asleep when it was proven that the Clinton's colluded with FusionGPS to hire Michael Steele to assemble a fake dossier against Trump using a disinformation specialist working directly with the Russian government? All this with the "honorable war hero" John McCain acting as an intermediary for the operation.

All the Trump collusion fanstasy was a smokescreen for this little acknowledged tidbit.

2. Thank Slick Willie.

3. Thank Slick Willie.

No, I don't love the guy, you narrow minded boob. But what I HATE is an attempted coup and power grab based on gaslighting and colossal LIES being hammered into the gullible public's collective mindset.

Times change, as they did in the '92 election when voters overlooked Clinton's picadillos. Sometimes the candidate's able to overcome them, other times they're not. To suggest that this change just occurred with Trump, however, is ignoring history, imo.

The fact that you can type your number 1 rebuttal tells me you've gone completely off the PT Barnum proverbial rail. Enjoy it out there. Not that any of it matters, I'll still stand by my prediction, and it's not really a long limb I'm out there on. If the economy keeps humming, he gets re-elected. If not, he's out. If he kills Melania in the rose garden but the economy is still hot, I'll give him 50/50.

This is a good point. Clinton also lowered the bar, without question. Sure would be nice if we could all start raising it again.

none of that is true... none of it.

1. Russia DID NOT work to get Trump elected... Simply not true. Hillary and Obama are the one's that sided with Russia.

2. Clinton did WORSE as Gov of Ark and he got elected... then he also got REELECTED. Your statement is simply not true.

3. yes please go on.... you are ignoring reality and totally making one-sided statements. There was NOBODY worse than Bill Clinton who RAPED women, who were then be-littled by his own wife.

The bar cannot possibly be any lower than what rapist Bill Clinton and his woman hating wife set.

Trump has zero moral integrity, but he did not set the bar.

We have had many Presidents that were adulterous, at least one First Lady that was lesbian or Bi, at least one President who was gay, multiple racist Presidents, alcoholics, drug abusers, etc.

JFK was addicted to speed and he and his brothers treated women horribly.

I think the confusion is that there was a bar to begin with, the change was that people were willing to talk about these experiences and the press has been willing to cover.

Truthfully, the obstruction against the Constitutional authority of the House is substantial. The vast majority has not read the Mueller report, however when people can just sit and watch Mueller himself speak, and the off- topic nonsensical questions the Republicans throw out, attitudes regarding the fitness of our dear leader might begin to change.
Most people are coming to the point they people to
I heard little Jimmy use the n word in college, supporting him is supporting racism.
And there are rumors little Jimmy is straight, what a cad

I think you're looking at it the wrong way. There is simply no dirt dirty enough to matter. There has already been enough stuff to wreck any normal candidate/incumbent, and it has been proven out that it simply doesn't matter. I honestly can't think of ANYTHING that could come out that would make any difference. If he killed Melania in the rose garden he'd just blame Hillary and/or claim fake news.

The only change between now and the vote that matters will be the economy. If that goes south, he is done. If not, he's probably in for another 4.
You may be looking at this the wrong way as well. It is true that Trump has some serious character flaws that would doom a Republican candidate in the past, but you've got to look at the big picture. The Republican base was (still is?) completely fed up with the politicians in the GOP.....all talk, no action....cowards to the core, never fulfilling anything they promised on the campaign trail. All of a sudden, here comes Trump, not a coward (perhaps maybe too aggressive but not a coward), and has followed through on some conservative promises he made during the campaign. What a concept.

There are a lot of people out there, like me, who overlook Trump's shortcoming simply because of the low quality that exists in the two party's. The Republicans suck ass and the Democrats are completely insane. You want to blame somebody for Trump, blame those parties for creating the atmosphere that allowed Trump to win and demand that they do better.

I'll add one more note.....I also like that we have a president for a change who hasn't spent the last half century in government and is actually going to return to the business world when his term is up....again what a concept.

You're trying to change the mind of a socialist...no grey matter to reason with.

definitely true... the big change is the press now performing character assassinations instead of reporting news about politics and governmental events.

I sure couldn't overlook Clinton's picadillos, so I voted for Perot. "If a man’s own wife cannot trust him, how can the American people?" Ross Perot

while I too shared Perot's sentiments when Slick Willy was running for office, he and Obama have so defaced the Office of the Presidency that I did not consider that during the Trump election, and likely never will again.

IMHO, the same rules (of elect-ability) should apply to both sides.... I simply hope for the sake of our Country that the lying slime-balls from the "right" are not near a bad and oppressive as the last 2 from the "left".
