It's what they are known to do. They are a 3 point shooting team and OSU didn't guard well on the perimeter at all tonight. 5-1 with a tough stretch upcoming for the ladies.
I know ISU philosophy...it's a bill Fennelly special...they live and die by the 3. Today...they lived, simple as that. Overall, it was an entertaining game.

WVU wins 67-59, after trailing by 12 at one point.

If this is to be the year Jim Littell finally climbs above .500 in the Big 12, the Cowgirls can only afford one more loss. A 15-3 finish would push him to 91-89 after 10 seasons.

It was the perfect storm for ISU. The combination of Baylor being out for nearly 2 weeks, Baylor only playing 3 conference games, Baylor being out of shape (they looked gassed), ISU having a top 5 recruiting class with freshman playing fearless, and ISU coming into the game hot and confident led to this game for ISU for the taking. Props to Baylor for playing despite only having one practice to prepare for the game. Baylor was also missing 2 players as well.

Unfortunately, Baylor will have a few days to practice, get into shape, and take their frustrations out on a OSU team that's in a middle of a tough stretch. Could potentially be a bloodbath on Wednesday.
