It was the perfect storm for ISU. The combination of Baylor being out for nearly 2 weeks, Baylor only playing 3 conference games, Baylor being out of shape (they looked gassed), ISU having a top 5 recruiting class with freshman playing fearless, and ISU coming into the game hot and confident led to this game for ISU for the taking. Props to Baylor for playing despite only having one practice to prepare for the game. Baylor was also missing 2 players as well.
Unfortunately, Baylor will have a few days to practice, get into shape, and take their frustrations out on a OSU team that's in a middle of a tough stretch. Could potentially be a bloodbath on Wednesday.
