Yes, Rudolph was getting a lot of love on AZ sports talk radio today. Mike Jurecki, one of the local talk show hosts was very impressed with Rudolphs' size, deep throws and his football intelligence. They were talking that the Cardinals might select him if he was available at the 15th draft slot.

As a long suffering Cardinals fan I'd be thrilled if they got him! They actually have a decent team, unlike the Browns, Giants or Jets..

These guys seem faster in the games
Yeah I’ve always thought there is a major difference between track speed and football speed. The technique, blocks, and surface all are factors. I get why they do it that way, but I’d like to see an additional event, a sprint in full pads on turf to reflect field speed.

I watched Mason's workout on YouTube and it wasn't the best of the QBs. Unless someone like Arizona who seems to like him, I wouldn't be surprised if he slips to 2nd round. I hope he goes higher, but none of the announcers talk about him. They even talk about Lamar Jackson, who had a terrible workout. They say he will be good if a good QB coach drafts him. Just silence on Mason. Hope he goes in the first, will just have to wait and see.

“The announcers” primary concern is to keep people watching for ratings. If ratings drop, they’ll get different announcers. Ergo, they’ll talk about the players from the blue bloods and the Heisman winners/finalists. The interviews one-on-one with the teams, and the work-outs the players do later in the process are where final draft decisions are made. We, the public, don’t get to see those.

Relax. Mason won’t “fall” to the second round. He’s projected as late first to second round, so there’s no “falling!”
