Anderson is getting better and better. His defense is so slick and now he is getting more patient. He was so crazy with the ball last year but he has toned it down.
He has a very high upside. Super quick and athletic with good handles. He can get to the basket or get a jumper off any time he wants to. Also has a great attitude. He does have a tendency to turn the ball over and if he can resolve that he will become a big offensive weapon.

Coach Boynton was so good in OT, the switches to get Ice on McClung everytime was huge.
1) first time ice scores easily
2) McClung scared, draws in 2nd defender, ice passes out to open 3 point shot
3) ice does a slick move inside on McClung, rebounds his miss, passes out, McClung fouls AA

I mean how many times have we played against someone with 4 fouls and refuse to go at them? Nice change of pace

I've seen us do it, but we have been doing it wrong with the wrong guy. Ice posting up on McClung 1 on 1 10 feet from the basket was really good. It worked every time.

Probably the best team they’ve played this year and they ground out a W. Some stretches of ugly, but many more stretches of defensive intensity and drive-and-dish perfection.

Was it only 12 months ago we were lamenting having nobody that could get to the rim 1:1?

Huge confidence boosting win! With Kaleb and Cade on the bench the team rose to the task and beat the number 13 team in the country on the road! They need to build off of this by beating West Virginia Monday night at home. This could really take the lid off and give them the confidence to start beating people soundly!

The defensive effort was a thing of beauty that had to have Henry Iba and Coach Sutton smiling down from heaven!

I think Texas is the best team they have played.
However they could have won that with a few more FT’s. Very close between the two.

Big time win by the Pokes today. I said after the TCU loss that we would need to steal one and we got it back today. Quick turnaround against WVU in GIA.

BTW it really sucks that we don't get to watch this group in a rowdy GIA.
