He is helping us. We should be 3-1 and ranked if we won today 2-2 and ranked next week.
Hes a great scorer, but he only had 3 assists tonight.

The problem with that is that we put the ball in his hands down the stretch, and if he's not assisting the ball it makes it tough because they can over play the ball.

He's a clutch player though, and made some plays down the stretch so thats not meant to say hes not a great player.

It's just meant to give a reason as to why his great play hasn't led to winning more in Conference note that teams have more film to evaluate.

It's almost like they don't mind him getting his 20-25 as long as he's not setting up others with assists.

Hey, if anyone else caught it: Fran mentioned the Alabama NCAA violations in comparison to ours, and an employee they have being a former NCAA employee may have swayed their punishment towards leniency...anyone know if that's on the nose?
He said same violations and no post season ban for them. This should be overturned.

KSU is a must win now. Splitting the ranked games against UT, WVU, BU are great. But we have to sweep the KSU and ISU.

PLENTY of basketball left. 15 games with another BIG12/SEC challenging adding on to that.
We will sweep KState

Iowa State will be tough to win both against.

We lost cuz we celebrated up 19. Coach made crappy decision to put in guys end of our bench. We didn't milk clock. Fluke deal but it happened. Played poorly at end and somehow got beat. Ridiculous.

WVU got to play as physical as they wanted down the stretch without the fear of a whistle. It made a huge difference. We fouled a ton but WVU got away with a lot of hand checks and reach ins. I’m going to err on the side of a young team that needs to learn to win in a tough conference. I’m mostly encouraged by what I’ve seen. Have to play well to build a 19 point lead. Didn’t hear anyone calling for Boytons head then. He used all his time outs. He tried to stop the bleeding. Just a bunch of young dudes playing against guys with 2 or 3 more years of Big 12 experience. Tough loss tonight but they’ve played close with 3 top 15 teams. Had a chance to beat them all.
Agree, unfortunately we had to burn a timeout early in the game when AA lost control of his dribble and called timeout to keep possession. Played great the first 29 minutes and after that quit doing what worked. WVU got more aggressive and were allowed to by the stripes. It’s unfortunate that the boys are 1-3, they have played good enough to be 3-1 or 4-0 for sure. They better get it figured out soon because there are no gimmes in this league. Really wish Moncrief could have played. Boone is killing us inside. He really needs to get serious in the weight room. In my opinion, he is worse than last year.

We were up 10 at the half & Ice was our leading scorer w 16. How many of those were 3s? Zero. Our 1st 4 possessions of the 2nd half were 3s. We then build up by constantly attacking which is good. We sub a guy who hasn’t played in a month and do the football equivalent of up 3 TDS in the 4th quarter & going uptempo w go routes on every down. We sped up our offense and our defense.

Our youth was exposed and our coach not only didn’t help them. He put them in positions to make it worse.

Not gonna beat many good teams shooting like that.

Seems like we stop running offense late in games and just spread the floor for Cunningham.
Yes, Cunningham is a double edge sword for us. The other players will defer to him in crunch time and that hurts our offensive flow. You noticed our offense was effective In Crunch time against Tech because Cade fouled out so he wasn’t in the game so the players knew they needed to step up.

I think you have a very valid point here.
