The Cowboys picked up LSU RHP Eric Walker. Walker had a very nice year his freshman year in 2017, but suffered an arm injury in CWS. He missed 2018 season after TJ surgery. Returned in 2019 and went 5-4 and thru 72 innings. In 2020 he only pitched 5 innings before play was halted.

Not surpised...told folks in April, he's likely to get drafted despite the shorten season. His stock has been rising the last several weeks.....Good luck to him!!

Proud he finished his amateur career as a Cowboy. Sorry I didn’t get to see him play live this year, but I wish Kaden the best of luck in his professional career. It would be really cool if he and Walton both ended up on the same infield in Seattle.

Not too surprising....for some players, the upside of returning to school is small. He'll be 23 tomorrow and with his degree in hand, he's ready to start his pro career. I expect a couple other players to sign free agent deals. IMO if he gets drafted if there was a 10 round draft, and much higher if we completed a season. He was really putting things together until ole girl Rona showed up and crashed the party.

Pretty surprised Scott came back. He’s 23 years old and will be 24 when the 2021 season begins so I’d figure he’d want to begin his pro career. It’s highly unlikely he’ll be a high pick, much less top 10-15 rounds IMO. Either way, him coming back makes us better.

Very happy for Leeper. I look forward to following his professional career.

Also, I’m blown away by some of the players coming back next season. The anticipation for last year was sky high, but it’s going to be through the roof for 2021.

OU has the pitching....what they lack is the ability to put runs on the board consistently. If we played a full season, OU likely would've hosted a regional and played in a super somewhere. Pitching wise, they had one of the best staffs in the entire country IMO. Now their entire weekend rotation was gutted along with their top 2 HS prospects. I can see why OU fans were disappointed the season got cancelled.
