They aren't paying their two percent of their GDP for their own protection so they certainly don't like him...Your point is that they aren't making up numbers, my point is that they think they are doing what's right by following our example in testing and counting. I think we are getting false positives because the cold virus is another form of covid. Colds increase in the fall and winter...I bet we are seeing that. Nick Saban and Les Miles are examples of old guys who had it with little to no symptoms...likely false positives?
I predict cases are going to get so "bad" that an attempt is made to limit in person voting for people like me that have planned to vote that way all along...Binmans post on the tweet from El Paso is the first indication I've seen of this BS. it won't work in Oklahoma...but man this is going to be interesting and enlighting. Just mark my words here before it starts to happen.
It's a media created story in the first place...they have escalated a 2% AT MOST death rate virus to the "biggest story since WWII" for their massive narrative. This has been done at the great loss to our country in terms of lives AND livelihoods AND created division as I've never seen. We have therapeutics and are nearing a vaccine. YET the media touts fear PORN with no positivity in site...except vote out OMB. Point being, you aren't living in the reality of the situation but the hype thrust upon you by the this mostly media driven and hyped up event. We can agree to disagree on this without calling people stupid. At least I can. My assistant was in the hospital with covid and recovered...my brother and sister in law had it...I know many others who had it and have recovered...I also know many who have had other illnesses and recovered yet those aren't nearly as hyped. Yes it sucks and needs to be taken seriously but the extent to which it has been hyped out of the stratosphere is new to our planet...not this pandemic...as they repeat themselves throughout history.

I personally know 2 people who have died from it. One who had to go to Joplin after 2 days in an ER in Tulsa who couldn't get an ICU bed. Died this weekend the day after he got an ICU bed in Joplin.
I know 4 people who have had it and recovered with no issues.

So we are sitting at 10th or 11th in terms of pandemics IF we believe all the numbers...You are putting words in my mouth and taking me out of context or only parts of my context. It's a thing, but it's been trumped up bigger than it is and to that extent it's been trumped up bigger than anything in my 55 years by an overbearing fear porn media.
I'm sorry about the people you know that have died from it...I've also know over 50 who have had it personally. I know of one who died as she was elderly and had underlying conditions. Most of these people had it in early summer and all recovered, except for the elderly lady that I don't know but was a church member.
it's not nothing, but it's not the something being shoved down our throats daily by the media in their fear tactics...take precautions, social distance and wear a mask. that's my point.
