Unlike the Cohen Plea Deal. Prosecutors for Mueller's team tell court that Manafort has entered into a "Cooperation Agreement" with their team in exchange for the Plea deal.

Meaning Manafort is now providing info and cooperating with the Mueller team in their investigation.

Yeah. I heard that there's a big announcement coming very soon. You'll see Trump in handcuffs at any moment...………………………..or not. The hatred against this man who has done nothing but good for this country is astounding. SMMFH

Possible. Some of his crimes occurred while working with them

But you would think that a cooperation plea would significantly hurt his chances of a Trump pardon, so not sure he would enter into that Plea and almost certainly ending his chances at a Trump Pardon.

Remember in his last Trial...Trump praised Manafort for not taking a plea and bashed Cohen for taking one

Regardless of Motives. The Mueller probe is getting alot of Guilty Pleas......We want to "drain the swamp".....Washington Officials pleading guilty in court to crimes seems like a good start to pulling the plug.

Papadopoulos Pleaded Guilty
Rick Gates Pleaded Guilty
Manafort found guilty by jury on 8 or 18 counts
Mike Flynn Pleaded guilty
Richard Pinedo Pleaded Guilty
Alex van der Zwaan Found guilty
W. Samuel Patten Pleaded Guilty

The Mueller probe is getting results and catching rats who are pleading guilty for breaking laws. If you are a believer in the Rule of Law then you must support this probe so far and its success in finding criminals and criminal activity

The official declaration starting the Mueller probe says

b) The Special Counsel is authorized to conduct the investigation confinned by then-FBI Director James 8. Corney in testimony before the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence on March 20, 2017, including:

(i) any links and/or coordination bet ween the Russian government and individuals associated with the campaign of President Donald Trump; and

(ii) any matters that arose or may arise directly from the investigation; and

(iii) any other matters within the scope of 28 C.F.R. § 600.4(a). (c) If the Special Counsel believes it is necessary and appropriate, the Special Counsel is authorized to prosecute federal crimes arising from the investigation of these matters.

You guys want to focus on the part that reads...and somehow think this is the ONLY responsibility of the Mueller probe

any links and/or coordination bet ween the Russian government and individuals associated with the campaign of President Donald Trump

But want to ignore part ii and iii......which the US Dep Attorney General office specifically assigned the Mueller probe to do
We know that the FBI mislead a FISA Court and that also members of Muellers team were biased and fired for it. Why is Mueller not investigating those issues which were directly tied to the Russia issue? If he is he's kept that secret while leaking any names associated with Trump.

There are others (politically tied to the left) with ties to Russia and questionable activities but no investigation by Mueller. The Clinton campaign paid for the false dossier which the FBI used to when they went to the FISA court. We also know well connected Russiand made huge donations to the Clinton foundation within the same timeline. Why are those Russian ties not being investigated by Mueller? They are directly tied to the Russia issue!

Perhaps you prefer those to be ignored and really aren't as concerned about the rule of law as you seem to accuse others of?

Reports that plea deal will see Manafort plead guilty of conspiracy against the US, conspiracy to obstruct justice, and tampering with witnesses

Also reports the plea will include forfeiture of some properties
Manafort forfeiting $46 million in assets. A lot more than the Mueller probe is costing. Mueller is making money for the government.

Per Special Council. Manafort agreed to forfeit his Trump Tower apartment in exchange for keeping his Charles Schwab securities acct.

Also agreed to give up his Baxter St Apartment in order to keep his Edgewood house in Arlington

I would like to see Mueller take them all down. If anyone is still operating under the idea that Hillary and the DNC aren't dirty crooks, then they haven't been paying attention.
I really don't know anyone here on OP that's opposed to taking down those who have committed crimes that are in anyway associated with the Trump campaign. The issue many of us have is the one sided approach when there is frankly more evidence against the Clinton campaign with political ties to Russian than there are with Trump. That's why it's called a witch hunt.

The purpose of this isn't to find criminals. The purpose is pure political to attack one political side and find anything (anything) that you can point to and use it for political gain.

For example, if the FBI found someone that was questionable with a tie to Trump they went around Trump and spied on the campaign. When it was discovered that Feinstein's driver was a spy they went to Feinstein directly and said you have a spy in your circle.

Part of this indictment states that Tony Podesta knew Manafort was working as an unregistered agent for the Ukraine

The indictment also details that Tony Podesta knowingly worked with Manafort at the direction of the Ukrainian Govt

Also in the indictment that Mercury Public Affairs which is a lobby group owned by Former Rep Congressman Vin Webber was also working with Manafort with an understanding that Podesta firm and Webber firm were recieving their directions from Ukrainian President Yanukovych

The indictment also states that Podesta had told his employees to treat the President of the Ukraine as their client and that employees of the Podesta Group knew they were working for a company called European Centere for Modern Ukraine and that is was a front for Yanukovych

The Indictment states that Manafort, Gates, and employees from both the Podesta Group and Mercury Public Affairs knew they were working for the Ukraine as they discussed their clients embassy in Washington DC

The indictment states that Manafort requested and received reports from both companies specifically about their lobbying activities so he could report it to Yanukovych

These reports provided to Manafort detailed that both companies had lobbied dozens of US Congress members and their staffers, the White House, and State Dept officials on many issues related to the Ukraine...including the validity of Ukrainian elections.

Feinstein said in a statement that the FBI informed her of its concerns regarding a staffer in her San Francisco office. Feinstein said she then ousted the staffer “immediately.

That's how the FBI handled it when the suspect worked for Feinstein.

But rather than give the Trump campaign the usual defensive briefing as they did with Feinstein, the FBI launched an unprecedented counterintelligence investigation into a president’s campaign, running informants against it and obtaining surveillance warrants.

That's how the FBI handled it when the suspect worked for Trump.

Podesta is also accused of being an unregistered foreign agent.
