Many reports in the last hour that Paul Manafort has reached a plea deal with Muller's team that will be announced in court tomorrow

Reports the deal will have Manafort plead guilty tomorrow and skip another expense of a second trial

Do you not support Rule of Law, due process and prosecution of criminals ?
yes. I just prefer you NOT listing every criminal court case in the country on the forum.

Manafort's crimes had nothing to do with much of anything, other than they were tax evasion from a decade ago, and not filling out some government form about "foreign agent" or some such.

I'm sure there are crimes that are more interesting than that...

It's not like he's Bernie Madoff or some such, that stole billions from movie stars....

It's not even news worthy.

he served as an advisor to Ford, Reagan, Bush, and Dole....he was the campaign manager of our current POTUS and once served as the deputy political director of the RNC
And in June 2017 registered as a foreign agent

How is that NOT news he is a criminal and news to cover his trials? This guy had been around and working for some of the most powerful men and leaders in the history of the world for decades upon decades

Yawn. I'm sure the media will grasp at this straw as an indication that Trump is doomed and Manafort flipped. Just like Papadopoulos was going to be the knife through Trump's heart and Flynn was going to flip and push Trump off the cliff. XL nothingburger as usual.

If you would quit trying to make Manafort about Trump and view it in a context of Manafort only..it is a very significant story and part of US history

The real news is why is Mueller doing the work of the IRS when he’s supposed to be looking into Russian influence in US elections.

so.... he pleads guilty to tax evasion and avoids a costly trial that he'd likely lose.... who cares... not news.

How about the criminal activity of almost every Obama official, that DID NOT get prosecuted for crimes against the people... that is news.

no... that's not true. The ONLY way it becomes part of US history is IF it is about Trump. Otherwise it's just another crook going to jail.

Cimarron nailed it, game, set, and match. Maybe some of your stories should be to question the motives/actions of the tainted Mueller investigation's effort to deflect from their own dirty antics.

Regardless of Motives. The Mueller probe is getting alot of Guilty Pleas......We want to "drain the swamp".....Washington Officials pleading guilty in court to crimes seems like a good start to pulling the plug.

Papadopoulos Pleaded Guilty
Rick Gates Pleaded Guilty
Manafort found guilty by jury on 8 or 18 counts
Mike Flynn Pleaded guilty
Richard Pinedo Pleaded Guilty
Alex van der Zwaan Found guilty
W. Samuel Patten Pleaded Guilty

The Mueller probe is getting results and catching rats who are pleading guilty for breaking laws. If you are a believer in the Rule of Law then you must support this probe so far and its success in finding criminals and criminal activity

The official declaration starting the Mueller probe says

b) The Special Counsel is authorized to conduct the investigation confinned by then-FBI Director James 8. Corney in testimony before the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence on March 20, 2017, including:

(i) any links and/or coordination bet ween the Russian government and individuals associated with the campaign of President Donald Trump; and

(ii) any matters that arose or may arise directly from the investigation; and

(iii) any other matters within the scope of 28 C.F.R. § 600.4(a). (c) If the Special Counsel believes it is necessary and appropriate, the Special Counsel is authorized to prosecute federal crimes arising from the investigation of these matters.

You guys want to focus on the part that reads...and somehow think this is the ONLY responsibility of the Mueller probe

any links and/or coordination bet ween the Russian government and individuals associated with the campaign of President Donald Trump

But want to ignore part ii and iii......which the US Dep Attorney General office specifically assigned the Mueller probe to do

And you ignore all the dirty cops at the top of the FBI food chain and the absence of any investigation into a multitude of illegal activities by the Clinton campaign where Russian collusion is at the forefront of the dossier used in fisa warrants.

Tony Podesta (brother of Clinton's campaign chair) is under investigation after a referral from the Mueller probe
Podesta Group (Tied to HRC campaign manager John Podesta) is under investigation after a referral from the Mueller probe
Former Obama WH counsel and Bill Clinton WH Adviser Greg Craig is under investigation after referral from the Mueller probe

that list is a bunch of crap.... especially the Flynn "guilty plea". Comey (and Stroke) already cleared him of that infraction. Flynn did not lie to Mueller, it was BEFORE Mueller, but Bad Bob decided to go back and disregard the judgement of the FBI director, and "accuse" Flynn of lying to the FBI. Flynn plead "guilty" because Bad Bob ruined him financially trying to defend himself from bad government gone awry.

when did Concord Management plead guilty? no search I just did could confirm that... where did you get that?

many on that list are "guilty"of lying to Mueller, nothing else. If Mueller investigation had not existed, then they would not even be guilty of anything.

This is another one of those where it's simply stupid to throw someone in jail for the rest of their life over. Take all of his assets and leave him about $60k a year to live on and be done with it. Bodabook Bodaboom
