Had a Opus X double robusto Friday night. Best Opus X I've had to date.

Opus X is on my list to try, probably move up after this. So what do you guys drink while your smoking? I generally sip brandy, sometimes a good cabernet.

Cabs are great. They go well with a Oliva connecticut churchill. Nat Sherman, Gurkha and Ashton have a few good cigars also.

How am I just now finding this?
For whatever reason, I have started smoking cigars. I was rubbing elbows with some high ranking Army guys last month, and it started there.
Within the past month I have tried:

Davidoff- (great)
Flora De Las Antilles Toro- (one of my favorites)
H. Upmann Legacy- (very good draw)
Romeo y Julieta Havana Reserve- (Nothing special. It was alright)
Montecristo Vintage 1999- (Not a fan. It was too spicy for my liking)

I'm quickly getting hooked.

It's an expensive habit/hobby.

Massive haul from this weekend's cigar festival in KC. All the vendors were really cool and lots of free samples!! Up to 50 cigars now and spent some time with the owner of Ashton and got her to sign the box of VSG's I bought.

Cuesta Rey Pyramid #9 is my absolute fave. Very nice medium flavored cigar, the run about $65 from JRCIGAR.com for a box of 10. Very smooth, best tasting I've ever had.
