Stupid about AGW!!
Before I read such "stories" as this I always look to see who is writing them and what they wrote before this posting. After reviewing Angelia's past writings my judgement is that Angelia Fritz writings are not worth my time it takes to read them.
EPA spokesman Jahan Wilcox has told CBS the reason the reporters were not allowed in is because the room had reached capacity and said they only had enough room for 10 reporters and provided a livestream for those they could not accommodate.

However, after the criticism of not allowing more than 10 reporters into the morning session the spokesperson Wilcox has announced that the afternoon session today will be open to all members of the press.

Only a portion of the morning meeting was livestreamed, not all of it.

Security at the location only allowed "invited" media guest to attend and checked each reporters name against an invitation list upon entering

Politico saying their reporters were invited and allowed to attend the first hour of the meeting this morning but was asked not to return for the afternoon portion after their reporters were escorted out of the meeting shortly after it began

EPA communications staffer Andrea Drinkard said the conference had attendees of stakeholders from over 40 states, territories, and native tribes and that during the meeting attendees would be raising their hands to vote in a polling system and felt a media presence in the room would not make them comfortable to vote this way.

The Federal Advisory Committee Act states that any committee, board, commission, council, conference, panel, task force, or any other similar group that is used by a Govt agency in the interest of obtaining advice or recommendations for federal govt use must be open to the public

The Hill is reporting that all reporters who were allowed to come to the morning portion of the event were limited to only 1 hr of attendance and then removed and were not allowed to stay for panel presentations, discussions or closing remarks

EPA Spokesperson Wilcox told reporters that in the meeting stakeholders would provide their individual perspectives into critical issues and that the event was not subject to the Federal Advisory Committee Act

I don't read articles like this or any other that starts off with an editorial comment....
Well, if you love and look up to Scott Pruitt in sheer awe as being one heck of an outstanding conservative who has been doing a damned good job in trying to make a very strong impact in reforming the EPA after 8 years of Obama, I don't blame you one bit for feeling the way you do. If there are enough Republicans in DC who keep positively tuned to corporate lobbyists, then Pruitt will quite easily remain where he is.

See here what I mean? Of course, according to Pruitt, mining companies should not have to be required to be in the position of being able to bear the cost of cleaning up their pollution when the taxpayers can do it, instead. This is somewhat similar to Oklahoma Republican legislators who strongly felt it was wrong that oil companies should have to be subject to lawsuits from workers hurt or killed on the job. That law only lasted until the Oklahoma Supreme Court rightfully nixed it. Why should Oklahoma oil companies be entitled to such special protection? No they should NOT be! I don't give a damn, if most Oklahoma Republicans and conservatives strongly disagree with me.

House Dem's ask to subpoena records they think will show that Scott Pruitt used his staff to run personal errands.

Millan Hupp one of Pruitt's top staffers told the House Oversight Committee members during their investigation of Pruitt that Pruitt she spend several hours a week over the course of several months searching for an apartment for Pruitt and his wife to live in and even personally toured 10 of the properties herself during her work hours.

In addition to this Hupp on Pruitt's request reached out to the managing director of Trump International Hotel in DC after Pruitt told her that she might be able to buy a used mattress from them but said she can not recall if the purchase ever went through.

Hupp also told investigators she used Pruitt's personal credit card to puchase plane tickets for his family vacation to the Rose Bowl and Disneyland

Hupp came with Pruitt from Oklahoma and one of the staffers who he gave the controversial pay raise to. She was hired at a salary of $66,500 before Pruitt raised it to $114,600

Pruitt has said that Hupp did all this activity for him on her own personal time and that Hupp is a long time friend of himself and his wife. Hupp said that she only did these things for Pruitt on her own vacation time or during her lunch hours

I'm confused. Either hupp says she did it on work time, or on her own time. The article is contradicting itself.

It is the Present that keeps giving the whole year Clark ---Cousin Eddie

Pruitt used one of his employees in their official role to try to land a Chik-Fil-A franchise for his wife. Apparently after they reached out Pruitt's wife started the franchise app but didn't complete it

It's amazing how quickly you just completely disregard the facts of this matter. This isn't based on just some unnamed source. Even SHS is accepting it as truth.[/QUOTE
Did you say New York Times? I have come to distrust anything they write.

The New York Times is a biased provincial newspaper that I quit reading years ago.
