So who would we trade baylor for? I know many would consider it just as bad, but I would say we replace them with BYU. I know they come with a lot of baggage, but holy crap would they bring a lot of money/fan base to the league.

One more thing, if I could snap my finger and make whatever I want in college sports happen I would have the power 5 merge into one big super conference of 64 teams then divide them into 8 regionally organized divisions of 8. I would remove Baylor and Rutgers and replace them with Notre Dame and BYU.

Wouldn't it be fun (Division status aside) to add SMU, BYU, SNU, Texas Lutheran and Notre Dame to the conference and put them in a division with Baylor and TCU and call it the church division of the Big XII with everybody else in the un-churched division.

I think you need a twenty team conference with two divisions with each team playing 9 games each season. Every two years switch the previous two years conference champs to the opposite division to keep things interesting.

So we need 4 more teams. I was trying to keep it regional as well as nostalgic. Maybe,
West Virgina
Virginia tech
Virginia and I don't know who the fourth one would be, Pitt?

Not exactly regional. Pure regional would reach over to New Mexico, or Tulane and LSU. Maybe up to Wyoming. With the exception of LSU, which would never happen, there are too many crappy teams in the Midwest region to keep adding schools for the sake of adding schools. (See CSU)

I hear ya. Just dreaming my dream conference. The last 4 I haven't thought too much about until previous poster brought up the number of 20 teams. I wouldn't mind New Mexico nor Wyoming. To keep it close, there's SMU and Utep. Maybe even Temple. Tulsa?
