Lambert's Cafe in Missouri sued by woman hit in face with 'Throwed Roll'

Lambert's Cafe is being sued by a woman who said one of its famous "Throwed Rolls" beaned her in the eye, causing a scratched cornea and "severely damaged" vision.
According to a story from The Riverfront Times, a woman who visited the Skieston, Mo., restaurant is asking for $25,000 after she was struck by a dinner roll.
The restaurant, which also has a location in Foley, features servers who toss rolls to patrons as they dine.
Troy Tucker said she was hit by a roll during a visit in September of 2014. She is suing the chain, which sports the slogan "Home of Throwed Rolls," claiming she "sustained a lacerated cornea with a vitreous detachment and all head, neck, eyes and vision were severely damaged."
According to the suit, Lambert's management should have known the dangers of lobbing rolls at patrons, with Tucker's attorney's calling the practice a "defective condition" of the restaurant.
Lambert's general manager, Jerry Johnson, told KFVS-TV that there is no malice in the server's roll toss, and that it is the first time anyone has sued over being hit by a roll.
According to the company's website, in 2014, the company baked 520 dozen 5-inch rolls per day -- or 2,246,400 individual rolls.

Surprised Lambert's doesn't just pay her medical bill on this. Would cost them a lot less in the long run in negative publicity and potential legal fees.

Or mail her a box with a pair of safety glasses in it and a voucher for a free meal.

Lol. Anyone notice this ladies name is Troy? KFOR originally wrote their article with it being a man suing the restaurant until they confirmed with their attorney that Troy is in fact a woman...
