Apparently Donnie got the call after the Travelers dropped the final playoff game to the Drillers today. He’s headed up to the show. Congrats to him. He’s worked his tail off to get there. He had a really good season with the Mariners AA club. Really raked in the 2nd half especially.
I love DW. He plays hard all the time and had a great year. He was one of only 5 players in the Texas League to hit .300 or better.

MLB Draft analyst Jim Callis said he would be an MLBer right after the M’s drafted him.

I'm more excited about our baseball team than any sport right now. Between the new stadium, the returning players, the new coaches and our recruiting it feels like things are really rolling.

I agree, but I'm also very hopeful that Coach Boynton is building a monster. Bring back the 90's, big time basketball and dominant baseball.

Marty Lees has been burning up the recruiting trail. He and Roland Fanning got us some last-minute additions to the 2019 class and the 2020 class. 2022 is shaping up nicely, but he'll have to do some rebuilding to the 2021 class that bolted after they originally committed to Vilade.

We have a very elite coaching staff now. Josh and Matt handling the offense. Rob running the pitching staff, Marty handling infield defense, base running, and recruiting. Victor helping the catchers, and you throw in Roland Fanning, whose been at Kentucky and you have something special.

Essentially, we put the band back together by adding Marty, but he and Roland went out and got more experienced. In the interim, Victor has become an extremely good coach (although I don't know if he can do the same stuff now in his new assignment) and you add a MLB All-Star to the coaching staff.

Honestly, I don't know if OSU fans appreciate how elite this coaching staff is right now. We were said in baseball circles to have the 3 best coaches in America before Marty went to be a head coach and now he returns with new recruiting pipeline knowledge and head coaching experience. Plus its a voice in the meeting rooms that Josh respects and gets our culture.

Kentucky recruits a lot of kids nationally and then cuts them if they don't work out immediately, Roland's experience there will open a lot of doors to kids that played at UK or were recruited by them. Its a low key big-time get to bring him back to OSU in any capacity.

Polkovich is plug and play at 2nd
Trenkle is a great player in center and can really hit
Morrill is All American caliber at short
Cabinness has really flattened and lengthened his swing. Hes going to have a huge year.
Spiegel is a good defensive catchet that should be a contact guy
Jake Thompson can swing it
We have a big tall lefty that can flat stroke
McCusker didnt hit that I saw

Our 2 strike was.visible

We made comsistent hard contact with 2 strikes

Josh made a real point to stay inside the ball with 2 strikes.

This will be the best offensive team Josh has coaches

Phansalket looked lkme he was throwing about 75% if that.

Was the "big tall lefty" Blake Robertson?
