I'm not sure who I would rather have between Kevin Cross and Nijel John. Both look like good pick ups and I would be happy with either one. Kevin Cross is listed at 6'8". Nijel John is listed as 6'9" or 6'10" and I read in an interview where he said he has only been playing basketball for around 2 years. I trust the coaches will know more about who would help us more.
Cross has grade issues and may have to go JUCO. Thats the only hang up with him I beleieve.

I like this. :D
Also worth noting Nijel John is listed as weighing 250lbs. That's a big body. Hope we can get him. What an excellent recruiting class.

Does it appear that this kid is a bit more athletic than Cross; good spin moves, better/quicker post moves, quicker first step, and more bounce?

Are there any concerns with taking another freshman in this class and not getting a Jr. or Sr. transfer? I know we would ideally like for the scholarships to be spread out more evenly. But if a quality transfer just isn't there then there isn't much we can do. I'm just not sure if having a big class matters like it used to with how popular the transfer portal has become.

Yea, I don't think it's a big deal, especially since we will have so many seniors next year anyway, not like we won't have more schollies to give.

Found a video of Kevin Cross doing some drills. Looks like he handles it really well for someone 6'8".
