I wasn't speaking exclusively to kneeling. I was referring to anything/everything else that has become so politically charged. I'm just so worn out that don't know whose opinion I'm supposed to support today.
I've certainly done that for all professional sports. Couldn't care less how that plays out going forward. I was hoping that NCAA sports would be somewhat uplifting going into the end of the year. However, I think that whatever COVID-19 hasn't already eff'd up, politics will.
Here are the data points I look at almost every day. I'm a co-chair on our "Return to Work" planning committee and these are what help keep me informed. When the cases started to jump last week I knew the hospitalizations would increase this week and there will unfortunately be a rise in deaths...
The Andy Oliver case is exactly what came to my mind. He took the NCAA to court and they were forced to settle for $750K to save face but what the NCAA did, and the timing of it, was total bullshit. The NCAA is so politically motivated and corrupt they're almost indistinguishable from Congress..
I was always a diehard OSU football fan. Eddie turned me into an OSU basketball fan. Loved the scowl, loved his style, loved the man. Thank you for so many memories.
