Wrestling Pokes Hosting South Dakota State on Friday Night; Mizzou on Sunday Afternoon

Thanks for the updates. I enjoy reading these but am far too ignorant to post any kind of comment.

Thanks Coach Boynton for putting in such hard work!!

Unless there is a hot mid-major coach available, I assume we'd do what most programs do and be reactionary, hiring a journeyman coach with a middling career but lots of experience.

Thanks Coach Boynton for putting in such hard work!!

I thought we'd be a bubble team at worst and an 8/9 seed at best. I didn't see this happening. We didn't play this poorly last year and we had reasonable excuses. Something else is wrong.

Thanks Coach Boynton for putting in such hard work!!

I like our freshmen and I like our incoming class, especially if it can include JT Thor. Even if we go 0-18 I still think you give Boynton the 4th year. OSU MBB had an image problem when Underwood left. He didn't speak well of us, rumors were floating around, and a coach bolting after success so...

MBB: Oklahoma State Cowboys vs Texas Longhorns (ESPN+ GIA 7PM TONIGHT)

He was fairly one dimensional in his game when he came alive offensively last season (given his hand issues, I'd think he'd be limited in offensive development, but who knows?). His blocking is largely in help, not man-to-man situations. The Big 12 coaches have adjusted and our coaching staff is...

Talk me down from my football expectations

I love all of it, though I'm not sure what my expectations of Dunn at OC are supposed to be. He has been here for a long time and is a highly regarded position coach, so I have to assume he has more or less agreed with our offensive philosophies over the years. You'd figure if he adamantly...

Thanks Coach Boynton for putting in such hard work!!

I understand the frustration. The offensive sets lack creativity and it feels like our seniors & Yor have regressed. Sophomore slumps happen as opposing coaches have an offseason of tape and it can take a while for young players to mentally adjust. The decline of our seniors has been the most...

    Oklahoma State @ #22 Texas Tech (11AM - ESPN2)

Eddie didn't take random dudes though, he recruited athletes that he could mold defensively (Melvin Sanders, Marcus Dove, Tony Allen). He never would've brought in Dizzy or Waters. They are not Sutton players. I love the commitment they've shown to our program, but they aren't Power 5 athletes...

REALLY DULL OFF-SEASON BANTER BEGINS NOW!! I'll GO FIRST.....

Do a deep dive on where the best recruits are and you see why the power has taken a huge shift to the southeast. The American West is never going support a full conference of great-to-good football teams in this era (in the limited TV, unlimited scholarship era some wealthy schools were able to...

REALLY DULL OFF-SEASON BANTER BEGINS NOW!! I'll GO FIRST.....

College freshmen weren't alive the last time Tennessee won a title. I do agree that only UT & OU are seen as legitimate title contenders in the B12.

3 Point Line in College moving back

They didn't widen the lane, so it helps traditional big men. If they ever widen the lane to the NBA dimensions, it'll hurt traditional bigs a lot (just as it has in the NBA). It also potentially allows for more room to get off true mid-range jumpers.

    Spring Ball

He probably deserves to be in the NFL Hall of Fame as well, but he played for the wrong teams at the wrong times. No matter what, it is still a popularity contest to some degree.

    Some Football KO Times Announced

I really think if it was a conference matchup, the conference would want to make games more readily available for both teams and would schedule cross time zones games in viewer friendly positions. This is a P12 home game and we are visitors on their time schedule.

    Some Football KO Times Announced

As bad as Oregon State was last season, I doubt the matchup would capture national viewers during an earlier kickoff. They lost 5 games by more than 20 points last season (3 by 40 or more) and 2 by 19, on the road to a 2-10 season (in the 3 seasons before 2018 they went, 1-11, 4-8, 2-10 or 7-29).

OSU, Tulsa agree to eight-year, home-and-home football series

OU has the Schusterman Center in Tulsa with a Vision 2025 plan and $30 million to build another medical research facility. Langston also has a Tulsa campus which holds some important cards in this discussion. Here is a good article from the Tulsa World that brought to the greater public some...

OSU, Tulsa agree to eight-year, home-and-home football series

Unfortunately, when millions of dollars are in potential play things don't get to be simple. Whether it is going to an IUPU type of arrangement with OU or expanding the role OSU-Tulsa, Oklahoma State wants as big of a presence in Tulsa as it can build. Higher education is probably entering a new...

OSU, Tulsa agree to eight-year, home-and-home football series

It is political. Tulsa spent money looking at what a fuller public university offering could do for the city. OSU has been investing in its resources in Tulsa and is trying to position itself. There is a lot of talk about possibilities, but I am confident that this about more than football.

OSU, Tulsa agree to eight-year, home-and-home football series

11 P5 games is not the way for OSU to make the playoff. Being 12-1 or 13-0 Conference Champions is the path. We don't want a pathetic OOC (aka 2021), but 11 P5 games is not necessary.

OSU, Tulsa agree to eight-year, home-and-home football series

I think it is for TU to recoup some athletic dollars, I also think there is real movement to try and make OSU's Tulsa's higher ed institution. OSU Med is building. Tulsa city officials are looking at what impact a fuller public university offer could bring to Tulsa. OSU is looking at how...

OSU, Tulsa agree to eight-year, home-and-home football series

2021 is pretty weak, otherwise it looks okay. Like others I want 1 P5 and 2 G5s, no FCS. With 9 conference games we already play an extra P5 opponent compared to ACC & SEC teams. We have an FCS scheduled 3 of the next 4 seasons, hopefully that ends after 2022. 2019 08/30 - at Oregon State...
