I hope so. I do think all running backs have been getting snubbed for years, but going back to the original point I was making is that Chuba isn't doing something that haste been done.
Jonathan Taylor rushed for around 2200 yards last season with multiple 200yd games and a 300+ yard game and didnt get invited. I think what Chuba is doing is awesome, but I dont think hes getting snubbed
lol im talking about on a national scale. He doesn't have a heisman moment and there have been players with more rushing yards recently that didnt get envited to NY. Is a Gary Patterson defense supposed to register on a national scale?
Chuba would need a signature moment, like leading us to a victory against OU with a stellar rushing performance. To win the Heisman you have to be the best player on one of the best teams or do something thats rarely accomplished.
Im not saying that the leagues leading rusher shouldn't be a heisman finalist, im just saying that it isn't that un-common and he wouldn't be getting snubbed.
I disagree. Rashad Penny and Jonathan Taylor surpassed 2000 yards and led the nation in rushing in 2017 and 2018 and did not make it to NY as a finalist.
I think we are established enough to where if we made a change we would still win 8 to 9 games. I think its very hard to recruit to Stillwater, but we should think about getting someone else in here and at least try.
when it comes down to it we lack talent outside of skill players, especially on the defensive side of the ball. I have never believed stars don't matter and that 2 stars can be coached up etc...
