    Dumb/Sometimes LOL Political Pictures

Quit mucking up the picture thread with non-pictures for piss-poor attempts at a gotcha. I said "with the money." You changed that to "for the money" for no purpose other than to add a disingenuous insult. You even knew you were doing it by segmentally quoting some of my words then adding your...

    Dumb/Sometimes LOL Political Pictures

Because with Friedman's idea a percentage of the population will do nothing productive with the money and a percentage will. With your plan, you are guaranteeing that they all do nothing productive. Or, at least something so minimally productive that one man and a backhoe could replace all of...

Pisses me off they put that in perry instead of exit 174. Would have been far more useful for pokes in Okc and south if there.

Officially 310 miles but it really depends on the weather and temperature outside. One time heading to Stillwater with a strong north wind in my face and it was below freezing and my mileage was dropping at almost double that rate. True for gas, too, but not as noticeable as there are gas...

I don’t know. I got a free supercharging referral so I don’t pay at Tesla superchargers. And, my building has included utilities so I’ve never paid at home. I’ve heard it is about $20 per 1000 miles on a supercharger trip but can’t verify that.

Torque of electric cars is impressive. Even the sad little prius started off the line all electric and felt quick for the first few seconds but then the weak engine took over and it was very slow. I now have a performance model 3 which is around a 3.3 0-60. Is awesome getting friends in the...

LOL. No, I had the prius over a decade ago. I said the prius has been upgraded (new car).

Could you really not tell from my post that I already understood the joke of a Prius and a muscle car? And it really didn't sound like you were joking since the joke had already been told. It sounded like you were simply trying to rub it in my face. If humor was the intent, sorry, it didn't...

What isn't a shock is that even just discussing a lighthearted subject that you could not respond without being an incredible dickhead about it. I explained why I was driving a Prius. It was a 1st gen and mine was the 2nd ever delivered to the Vegas market. Well before the 2nd gen became the...

Sort of funny muscle car story. I was living in Vegas years ago and had a long commute. I bought a first generation, 2002 Prius which was great for that. Well, I moved to South Dakota and the Prius wasn't as great there but I had not sold it yet. My brother-in-law is a muscle car guy and was...

You want to take all that data and try to turn it into some theoretical chicken-egg argument. Your claims of cause nor symptom are blatantly wrong and, of course, not backed by data, so it will just be my (Dalio's) data saying you are not right and you saying you are. OK, I am out of here...

    Wealth Gap

I believe these are some important points. He has more: 1. We are losing income mobility. In the past, it was easier to go from poor or lower middle class into higher incomes. Now, class mobility is definitely trending down. This ruins the spirit of life, liberty, the pursuit of happiness...

    Wealth Gap

The problem was very clearly laid out in the link above from Mr Dalio. The fact that you chose to either not read it or read it and decide that the detailed data he provided isn't a problem to you does not make it not a problem. I get it. Those of us who are wealthy certainly benefit from...

But how? The situation stands as it is. Just saying "Ok, now less government" isn't a solution any more than saying that "Ok, eat less" fixes obesity. How exactly do you get there?
