Sean Gleeson is the next OC

I tend to disagree with you on this one. Maybe it was Gundy to an extent, but I looked at Dana Holgorsen's stats going back to 2008. Seems to me that he tailors his offenses to suit personnel more than anything. The 2009 season where he went Run/Pass = 35/65 was when Case Keenum was a senior...

Sean Gleeson is the next OC

In the case of Yurcich? 1st down - they lined up to stop a run up the middle 2nd down - they lined up to stop a throw to the boundary 3rd down - they lined up to stop a deep bomb or draw

Sean Gleeson is the next OC

Interesting take. I have no clue who was responsible for what, but all I know is that things would be going well until they weren't, then they were mind numbingly bad. I never knew if it was Gundy interfering and screwing things up, or if Yurcich was THAT inconsistent on his own. Either way...

Sean Gleeson is the next OC

You think he was ever free with the reins with our last OC? Because I don't believe that.

Sean Gleeson is the next OC

I like this from an X's and O's standpoint. My ONLY fear right now is that Gundy will try to stay too involved in the offense instead of letting this guy go to work.

Interesting. I'm on board. Good luck, coach Gleeson!!!

    Basketball tryouts

That's crazy. I played on a softball team of mostly Kicker dudes. A good friend is one of their engineers. Speaking of Annex injuries - I dislocated a finger playing ball over there. I was glad to never step foot in there after the Colvin re-opened!

    Basketball tryouts

You were there during the Annex years, huh? Gah, that was horrible before the Colvin reopened. I rarely played with the group you were with, but did play a lot up there. I had a similar hoop schedule to Jacob Lacey for a semester, so he and I threw down on the hardwood several times. Nice dude...

    OSU @ ISU Game Thread?

We're keeping it close. We'll need someone to step up to pull it out, though.

    OSU @ ISU Game Thread?

We need some grown men on the floor. I feel like we've had the youngest, least experienced group in the conference for the last 10 years, now.

Weathers, Calloo and K. Jones all booted off team

Agree to an extent, but its also concerning that these are his guys. As much as I like Boynton as a person, he's off to a pretty rough start right now. Hopefully he can right this ship with a new batch of guys that can stay out of trouble. Man, I'm tired of saying that.

    New OC thread

Most people have reasons for why they believe things. I simply asked if anyone had a good reason to hold such a belief. So far, no one has really given me a valid reason aside from "its within the realm of possibility, so I think it will happen". Possible does not equal probable...

It makes sense geographically, but you'll have to explain how Baylor was a bottom dweller for so long by comparison if they have such fertile recruiting ground to cultivate.

    Gundy comment on fans

You're completely missing the point. No criticism of Gundy is EVER warranted.
