Football 2019 OL Taylor Miterko Committed to OSU

His offer list is huge with big-time Power 5 schools. Great pickup. Henson has had a remarkable last 10 days of recruiting.

End of the road for Nevada’s prostitution business?

Surely, they can’t take prostitution away from a city named Mound House.

New York Attorney General announces state is suing Trump, Trump Jr, Ivanka, Eric, and the Trump Org

If the Trump Foundation hosted the golf tournament at Mar-a-lago then it would seem to make sense for the Foundation tompay for the hole in one money. And if the picture of Trump was at the resort to promote the Foundation wouldn’t the Foundation pay for that? Btw, I was at the Trump Doral...

The way forward in our country causing income inequality

Government makes bad decisions all the time. And there is no doubt too much corruption. But your video was potentially exposing corrupt government officials favoring a friend over another individual. Not an income inequality issue. You have a lot of good ideas, but I think you missed on...

The way forward in our country causing income inequality

@steross , you had my interest with a video from John Stossel. He is, IMO, the best investigative TV journalist hands-down. His libertarian political views align very closely with mine. He is by far my favorite political journalist. But your example is not at all showing income inequality...

The way forward in our country causing income inequality

You lost me there. If there is no way to know if income inequality is a problem .... why did you start this thread?

The way forward in our country causing income inequality

I don’t believe income inequality in itself is a problem. If you are implying the reason incomes of the westhly have risen faster is due to corruption (as per you initial post), then I would say that assertion is incorrect.

The way forward in our country causing income inequality

That would be a great counter argument .... if it is was remotely factual and not inaccurate. But the percentage of central air conditioning in American households increased sharply from lower than 19% in early 1970s to nearly 75% now. And total AC in households from barely 50% in early 1970s...

The way forward in our country causing income inequality

Income inequality by itself is not a problem. If we lived in a land where the top earners made $1 billion and average worker wage was $1 million then I hope we all agree that shouldn’t be a problem. Unless you bring in envy. We live in a land where incomes for the top have risen sharply and...

What matters more to you substance or style

If I didn’t know the answer prior, I know now. I definitely prefer substance over style. I greatly dislike Trump’s style and wish he was not so thin skinned and get off Twitter (although I do love him and SHS calling out the media with media’s fake news). But I know of zero Democrat...

The way forward in our country causing income inequality

Maybe I don’t understand production tax (could be, I am not in the energy sector). But I thought tax depletion was a good thing for oil and gas properties and provided tax savings. To me, comparing wind companies to oil and gas companies doesn’t make much sense. They are related only because...

The way forward in our country causing income inequality

Honest question, but why should wind energy companies pay a “production tax”? I get that they should have same sales and corporate income taxes as other companies but don’t get production tax.

The way forward in our country causing income inequality

Shit holes like OKC and Wichita? Nice. Unfortunately for your flawed theory about SF homes not being affordable, the facts don’t support you. The prices I posted in my earlier post were national medians in 1978 and national medians in 2010. Affordability of homes are roughly the same as 30...

The way forward in our country causing income inequality

Do away with innovation of automation?? Good god no. Innovation has created and is creating millions of jobs. Automation has certainly changed the workforce, but for the better. Physically tough manufacturing jobs are replaced, but incredible job opportunities with computer sciences are...

The way forward in our country causing income inequality

Your own link that you posted yesterday shows that average workers wages have increased, albieit slightly, over inflation since 1978. Are you now saying your own link was incorrect?

The way forward in our country causing income inequality

I guess I don’t understand the point you are trying to make. Basically you are saying that average Americans workers have slightly better buying power than in 1978. But the average American worker now has many more conveniences that many CEO of 1978 would say was pure luxury. Almost all...

California bans state workers from traveling to Oklahoma

Why does The State of California hate children so much? We should ban travel to California since they are obviously anti-adoption. Or we should ban travel to California since that State obviously does not care about following federal laws due to their anti-safety illegal alien harbor laws.

Roseanne canceled at ABC following racist tweet

I don’t have a problem with ABC’s decision about Roseanne. But there is a massive hypocrisy with how perceived racist and offensive statements, tweets, or inferences are treated between conservative and liberals. How does Michael Che still have a job at SNL after making several racist jokes...

NFL owners change policy (Major Update: Owners testify Trump directed them to change Policy)

    Baseball Recruiting

A 2020 recruit that I hope OSU has an eye on is first baseman Cooper McMurray. He just finished his sophomore year at Bishop Kelley (5A state champs). He hit over .400 with 6 HRs. Last year as a freshman he also hit over .400. Big kid, legit 6’3” and 225 pounds. His older brother signed...
