I'm not trying to slight the previous years teams. All MB teams have been scrappy, bu this year we have enough talent for it to make a difference.
As far as having all guards out there, it just doesn't seem to work. When we go to that line up the opposing big guy just seems to go off. I...
Im just glad to see some good hard nosed, high intensity basketball being played again. You know the guys have bought into whatever coach is preaching b/c the effort on defense it absolutely intense.
Every time out before he speaks with the players he has a meeting with the coaches. It looks like to me that Pastrana is his guy. Sutton and Hinson usually work the refs. I didn't see page at last nights game. HCMB doesn't talk much with his coaches during live game play
Gronk is slow as hell even in his last years with the Patriots. Most dynamic offenses "scheme" players open the qbs decision is basically done when they snap the ball. We just run straight down the field, sometimes we stop, sometimes we don't...not very dynamic
OK but......
He had career totals of 41 receptions, 616 receiving yards and five touchdowns.
4 year career collegiate total for an NFL tight end. Maybe just maybe we don't utilize the TE enough, is all I'm saying
IMHO someday we will be watching him in the NFL and say to ourselves "why didn't we use him more?". I honestly had know idea Jarwin played for us until he made the D. cowboys. tight end has become a staple of NFL offense and we have our guys block 90% of the time, what a shame
I think Cade and all the other freshman have to go through this phase. I think he is slowly starting to realize what it takes to win the Big 12. The college game is different, its not high school where a half ass effort can get you by b/c you are that much better and it's not the pro game...
I think Keylan is coming along ok. Earlier this year Kahlib got kicked out of a practice, coach said he wasn't competing. At the time I couldn't see what coach was talking about.. I see it every game now. I'm not saying he doesn't want to, but he has the tendency to just stand around and gets...
I'm still very optimistic about this team. I just know a loss to TCU could really hurt in the end. I still think by the end of the season we will be capable of competing with anybody, hopefully by then it won't be too late.
I think we have a stronger foundation than just ice, mam and walker...
You guys are wrong though Cade had the ball in each of our last three possessions. first time he gave it up and went to the corner and really didn't work to get the ball back....Boone turnover, next cade passed it to Williams with 10 on the clock, Williams drove but didn't get the call, and...
If I remember right we lost a couple of head scratchers in middle of the season, to the likes of a TCU last night. We can overcome the loss, but it was a big missed opportunity.
Who is Hansen?
No way around it that was a TERRIBLE loss. One that will look bad if we happen to be a "bubble" team.
1. We can't shoot three pointers, at all. You can tell the kids have lost confidence in their shots!
2. Our defense was terrible until we went ULTRA small, those guys built a lead and the...
The problem is not the 3*, no matter the coach we will fill the majority of our roster with 3*, it's just the way it is. The main thing is when we get the occasional 4*/5* star they usually don't pan out for whatever reason. SS is a recent example a 4* out of high school and I'm not sure he has...
Ultimately this is the only voice one has. A person shouldn't be called fair-weather b/c they want their opinion heard. Obviously 8 club seats involves a HUGE amount of $.
When I was leaving the game this was my exact thought, as Bryce was doing a good job but they kept switching him on the screen (usually to ICE) and the guy was just too quick for ice. If Bryce and AA would have been switching that would have changed things up a bit, and AA is a little taller...
