    Wuhan Coronavirus

We asked our primary care doctor about getting the antibody test. We're pretty sure at least one of our kids had it, and wanted to get him and my wife tested since she's pregnant. Our doctor said they've had several negative results on patients they know have had COVID. It was her opinion that...

I consider it a problem if the police are forcing you to do something to enter basic society. No one's being obscene or dangerous. I get that masks are beneficial, but the past month has shown they really aren't necessary in Stillwater. People haven't been wearing them, the big stores have been...

Forced masks use is a good place to start.

lol ok What other behavior should the government steer us towards under threat of punishment? Proper eating habits? Proper social etiquette? Kind speech?

I haven't confirmed this, but someone on the Facebook post commented that Guthrie lawsuit was dismissed because no citations were actually issued. So it sounds more like they had no standing because they had no damages. If that's true, it seems like the City is being a bit disingenuous here...

I don't care if a business requires it. I care if the government requires it and sends the police to give $500 tickets to everyone who doesn't comply.

I literally just posted that it was amended. I completely agree the mayor and council have gone to far, but it looks like they've received pushback on this and pulled back some. From the City's website. "A face covering is strongly encouraged for all persons entering any of the essential or...

A revised order was issued. It look like masks are no longer required, but most places are supposed to "encourage" patrons to wear masks.

Well that’s one of the big problems. It doesn’t look like the Council did vote on this. It was issued as a mayoral proclamation - not a council action. There was no vote in the most recent council meeting, so if there was a vote, it was not a normal public vote. Does the mayor have the legal...

I guess it's still vague to me. It implies they can have services, but there's nothing specific that says the 10-person limit doesn't apply. Edit: Nevermind, I see it now. It's ridiculous to make you wear a mask for an hour+ long service. It's hard to breath under those things. Yes

eh, I think it's only if you go in a store. But I feel the same sentiment.

I saw that, but then does the 10 person limit still apply? My church is still planning on meeting on Sunday. The whole thing is ridiculous. I'll be doing a lot of shopping in Perkins in Cushing for a while.

The mayor issued a new emergency order. Gatherings of more than 10 people are still prohibited - although it's unclear if this includes churches. It gives rules for specific businesses. People over 65 are still under a shelter-in-place order. Most notably: It's now a criminal act to not wear a...

Joyce issued a statement officially ending the shelter-in-place order on April 30 and following Stitt's order on May 1.
